Dr. Thomson earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Florida and completed residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville, Division of Head and Neck Surgery. His training focused on maxillofacial and head and neck surgery, facial and jaw reconstruction, and facial plastic surgery.
He subsequently completed fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery under Ross Clevens, MD, FACS, in Melbourne, Florida. His extensive surgical experience includes facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, facial trauma, craniomaxillofacial reconstruction, oculofacial plastic surgery, dermatologic surgery, and complex head and neck reconstruction.
