What is the RHA® Collection?

The RHA® Collection of dermal fillers includes four facial filler treatments, each offering a unique formula designed for specific areas of the face. Every product in the RHA® Collection is made using hyaluronic acid (HA), which closely resembles the natural HA in the skin to replenish volume and smooth out lines and wrinkles. One of the most significant benefits of the RHA® Collection is that each dermal filler adapts to your natural dynamic facial movements. This means you can maintain your natural expressiveness, even in high-movement areas like around the mouth. Ultimately, the RHA® Collection provides natural-looking and long-lasting results that can rejuvenate the appearance through added facial volume.

What Products are Included in the RHA® Collection?

There are four dermal filler products included in the RHA® Collection, which allows patients to select the injectable treatment that is best suited for their treatment goals. These dermal fillers include:

  • RHA Redensity™
    • Designed for lip rejuvenation, this dermal filler targets vertical lip lines, also known as lipstick lines.
  • RHA® 2
    • Designed for fine lines and wrinkles, as well as mild volume loss, RHA® 2 is the thinnest and most dynamic formula in the collection.
  • RHA® 3
    • Designed for moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, RHA® 3 offers a thicker formula that can restore greater volume in the skin.
  • RHA® 4
    • Designed for deep wrinkles and folds, RHA® 4 is the thickest RHA® formula. It is ideal for patients seeking maximum volume restoration.

What Should I Do Before My RHA® Collection Treatment?

Dermal fillers from the RHA® Collection require little preparation, but we do recommend refraining from alcohol, advil, aleve, ibuprofen, waxing, hair removal creams, and Vitamin E oil for 72 hours before treatment. This helps to minimize bruising, bleeding, and discomfort. Additionally, we recommend scheduling a consultation with Dr. Rich Castellano of ImageLift® to ensure that the RHA® Collection is a good fit for you.

What is the RHA® Treatment Like?

Your RHA® treatment will begin with the application of a topical anesthetic or local lidocaine injections, which numbs the skin to minimize any discomfort that may occur during the injection process. Then, our master injectors will use a fine needle to inject the desired RHA® Collection formula into the appropriate treatment area. Most patients describe the injection process as feeling like a pinch. RHA® Collection treatments take about 45 minutes on average, making it a quick and convenient treatment for anyone with a busy schedule.

Does the RHA® Collection Hurt?

RHA® Collection treatments are not considered painful, as we offer a topical anesthetic or local lidocaine injections to numb the treatment area before injection. Most patients liken the injection process to a pinching sensation, which lasts for only a moment. As a result, many find the RHA® Collection to be a tolerable injectable experience.

What Happens After My RHA® Collection Treatment?

The RHA® Collection requires no downtime or recovery period, so you’ll be able to resume normal activities immediately after your visit. You may experience some mild swelling, bruising or redness in the treatment area that lasts for a few days after treatment. To ensure a smooth recovery process, we may give you additional post-treatment instructions depending on the RHA® Collection product administered during treatment.

What Results Can I Expect from the RHA® Collection?

The results from the RHA® Collection are visible immediately upon injection, and will become more visible as any side effects fade. The duration of your results will vary depending on the exact dermal filler product administered. Patients who correct lipstick lines with the RHA Redensity™ product will notice that their results last for approximately 12 months. Patients who receive RHA® 2, RHA® 3 or RHA® 4 will notice that their results last for approximately 15 months.
