We often get questions about ImageLift® and face lifts.  Here’s frequent questions and answers:

What is an ImageLift™?

The ImageLift® is a facial rejuvenation procedure performed in the doctor’s office using local anesthesia and a relaxing medication. In about 90 minutes this procedure can offer more results than standard mini-lifts, with less recovery and risk than traditional or full cosmetic face lift procedures.

We consider the ImageLift® to be a medium face lift procedure. This is our most popular facelift due to the results it achieves in the face as well as the tightening it can produce in the neck and jowl line. The ImageLift® includes liposuction in the neck and jowls which can produce a longer lasting result.

Am I a good candidate for an ImageLift®?

The first thing to consider is whether you feel you would like to look younger. We do live in a visual society and studies have shown when we feel better about our appearance our self confidence is higher. We are able to offer a wide range of treatments and have something to offer almost everyone.

What is a facelift?

A basic definition is the tightening of skin and muscle around the neck, jaw and face. There are many types of face lifts performed, so to keep it simple, we like to describe them in terms of Small, Medium, or Large.

Large is comparable to a traditional facelift, where the skin is lifted up from one ear to the other, and a more aggressive procedure is performed. Theoretically, more improvement can be achieved with a large procedure; however, there is more risk, more expense, more recovery, and a higher chance of looking unnatural. Typically, this procedure is performed with general anesthesia or intravenous sedation. Most of our patients do not want a traditional facelift. Hence, most patients choose either Small or Medium.

Small is comparable to the 1-hour minilift. This is a popular procedure which can have nice results of improving the neck, jowline, and nasolabial folds with less downtime involved. However, this smaller procedure is not designed for everyone.

Medium is when someone desires more improvement than the traditional 1-hour smaller minilift, yet they want less recovery than a large, traditional facelift. If this is the case for you, then the Medium lift (ImageLift®) is a great option. Please refer to our before and after photos to see what types of results are possible with the ImageLift®.

How much does a facelift cost?

This is a very popular question, but one we feel requires a consultation with one of our doctors. It can be misleading to generically quote prices because one may choose a different treatment or procedure depending on their goals, anatomy, or recovery time.  Our cosmetic procedures are priced competitively and when combined with a payment plan can be obtained for about what many people pay for cable TV.

How much time do I need for recovery?

This depends on the treatment you choose. We have little to no down-time options available, allowing you to return to your activities immediately.

Patients can typically return to some of their activities within two to five days after some cosmetic lifting procedures. Patients may look socially presentable within one to seven days, depending on the treatments chosen. Be sure to ask your doctor for more accurate estimates on your recovery time, based on the cosmetic procedures you choose.

Why is the ImageLift® popular?

The ImageLift® is performed in the doctors’ office using local anesthesia and a calming medicine. There is less risk since you are not receiving general anesthesia or IV sedation and you return home immediately following the procedure.

Can I finance my procedure?

Yes, we offer several methods to easily finance your procedure allowing you to fit the cost into nearly any budget. Our staff will help with this simple and easy process.

What are facial fillers?

Facial fillers restore facial volume and rejuvenate facial appearances in ways surgery cannot. There is little to no downtime with this simple procedure.

What is an eyelift (blepharoplasty)?

This procedure can be performed on the upper or lower eyelids or both. Typically it involves the removal of excess skin and or fat tissue resulting in younger looking, less droopy eyes.

Can a man get a face lift?

Men are increasingly requesting facelifts and eyelifts. In an increasingly competitive world, it pays to look your best.
